In the afternoon of May 09, 2011, the delegation of Japan’s Ministry of Economics, Industry and Trade led by Mr. Masanori Suzuki, Director of the Engineering Industry Department, visited and had a working session with the Management Board of Hoa Lac High Tech Park (HTP).
The purposes of the visit were to understand the development status of Hoa Lac HTP, opportunities for Japanese enterprises to invest in Hoa Lac HTP, promote the implementation of Vietnam – Japan cooperation projects, including satellite cosmography development project.
Through discussions in the meeting, the two parties have recognized the importance of construction and development of satellite cosmography technology as well as remote sensing centers so that they can discover and share information, prevent risks of natural disasters as well as exploitation to manage natural resources and for welfare services. Deputy Minister, Director of the Management Board of Hoa Lac HTP Nguyễn Văn Lạng hoped that the Japanese Government would continue its support so that Vietnam – Japan could be implemented in the coming time.
