FUNCTIONS, TASKS AND RIGHTS

The Center for Science and Technology Communication (in short called the Center) is an S&T agency under the Ministry of Science and Technology, with functions of doing scientific research and using new communication technologies, organizing the implementation of S&T communication activities for the advocacy program of the Ministry of Science and Technology.

The Center has an international transaction name of Center for Science and Technology Communication, abbreviated as CesTC.

The Center works with the self-managed and self-managed mechanism applied for S&T public organizations as stipulated in Decree No 115/2005/ND-CP dated 5/9/2005 by the Government.

The Center has its legal status, own stamp; can open accounts of domestic currency and foreign currencies at the State Treasury and Bank to operate and carry out transactions as stipulated by laws.
