France wanted to participate in projects on consultancy and construction of Hoa Lac High Tech Park
In the afternoon of May 10, 2011, the mission from the Embassy of the French Republicin Vietnam had a visit and working session with the Management Board of Hoa Lac High Tech Park (HTP). The purpose of this visit was to discuss on the development status of Hoa Lac HTP, development progress of investment projects, included those funded by the French Government. Meeting with the mission was Deputy Minister, Director of the Management Board Nguyễn Văn Lạng.

After the presentation made by the representative of the Management Board on Hoa Lac HTP, Ms. Marie-Cecile Tardieu-Smith, Economics Counselor has showed her impression with the development of Hoa Lac HTP for the past period of time and said that French investors wanted to participate in consultancy and construction projects of the HTP. The economic agency under the Embassy of the French Republicof Vietnam would strengthen advocacy to call for French investors to implement high technology projects in Hoa Lac HTP in the coming time.

Deputy Minister Nguyễn Văn Lạng highly appreciated Ms. Marie-Cecile’s ideas and welcomed French companies and investors which are present and implement projects in Hoa Lac HTP. Deputy Minister Nguyễn Văn Lạng also proposed the Embassy of the French Republic in Vietnam to continue its support so that cooperation projects between the two countries would be implemented soon.
